Bio

Born into the renowned Tiberino artistic family in 1983, Gabe Tiberino has been immersed in the world of art from a young age. He had his first solo exhibition of portrait drawings at the age of eight and has been shaping his own artistic identity ever since. Gabe’s early collaborations with his father, Joseph Tiberino, on mural projects ignited his passion for public art, and by 16, he joined Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program. For over 20 years, Gabe has been painting his own murals throughout Philadelphia and beyond, while also showcasing his work in galleries.

Gabe’s work is distinguished by a masterful blend of classical realism and bold, expressive brushwork. His paintings, murals, and commissions reflect his deep connection to cultural narratives, personal experiences, and community engagement. Known for his attention to typography, symbolic imagery, and social commentary, Gabe’s art is a dynamic fusion of technique and emotion. A graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Gabe continues to create impactful works that resonate both locally and beyond.

Artist Statement

My art is a reflection of the world I see—vibrant, complex, and deeply intertwined with history, culture, and social change. Through a mix of classical realism and expressive brushwork, I create works that speak to the human experience, often incorporating symbolic imagery and thoughtful typography. Whether on the walls of the city or in intimate portraits, my work seeks to evoke emotion, start conversations, and inspire change.

My work is a fusion of classical techniques and contemporary perspectives. This blend allows me to honor artistic traditions while addressing modern themes and challenges. Through my portraits and murals, I aim to create a visual language that speaks to our common humanity, encouraging viewers to look beyond the obvious and connect with the deeper currents of emotion and experience that run through us all.

In a world often divided by superficial differences, I believe art has the power to remind us of our shared hopes, struggles, and aspirations. My mission is to create pieces that serve as mirrors to our collective soul, reflecting not just what we see, but what we feel and who we are at our core. By doing so, I hope to contribute to a more empathetic and united society, one brushstroke at a time.

The Story of G-Tiberino Studios

G-Tiberino Studios was born out of a desire to expand my personal artistry into a larger platform, where creativity can flow freely and engage with a wider audience. What started as a way to share my murals and paintings has grown into a hub for original artwork, commissions, and a unique line of artistic apparel that reflects my deep connection to culture and community.

At G-Tiberino Studios, we’re more than just a business—we’re a creative force that brings together original murals, fine art, and wearable art, all with the same commitment to bold, meaningful expression. From public installations to private collections, my work and the mission of G-Tiberino Studios is to enrich spaces with art that tells a story, sparks conversation, and connects people.
